The role of the company in sandwich courses- to select applicants (in individual cases applicants can also be put in touch through the University of Cooperative Education)
- to assume the tuition fees and allowance (as per contract)
- to take on responsibility for the practical training in coordination with the Student Administration at the University of Cooperative Education
- on request, to assist the examination board
The University of Cooperative Education welcomes company representatives on the advisory boards of the University in order to receive input for study subjects and new study courses. With the creation of a training position the company incurs obligations. These obligations are explicitly regulated in the contract. The contract, for instance, regulates who is responsible for the tuition fees and the amount of the allowance payable to the student. There are several variants on the contract: A. The company pays the tuition fees and pays an allowance B. The company pays the tuition fees but does not pay, or only pays a very limited, allowance C. The student pays the tuition fees but receives an allowance from the company « back to Companies
