Notes on Online Applications
 Students interested in sandwich courses at the International University of Cooperative Education are not bound to an application deadline. However, they should look for a training company well in advance:
- Apply on your own initiative to suitable companies. Not all companies announce open training positions but instead make their decision on whether to offer a training position depending on the interviews held with prospective candidates.
- You can also suggest possible training companies to the University of Cooperative Education. Companies can become partner companies of the IBA if they meet certain suitability criteria. Information sheets on the matter are available at the offices of the IBA or can be downloaded in the download area of the website.
- Apply according to standard practice when applying for a training position: a covering letter, curriculum vitae in table form, including a photo, copies of your school report and other reports.
Online Application
- At the same time, you should apply directly to the IBA. This gives the IBA the opportunity to give assistance in your search for a training company. Well-prepared and complete application documents are essential. Please use the online application form to apply.
- Potentially suitable applicants have to take an entrance examination. After a review of the application documents, they will be forwarded to a partner company at the study centre you have chosen. Note that there is no guarantee that the application documents are automatically forwarded to the company most favoured by the student.
- Decisions on interviews, etc. are made by the companies.
The application process ends with the conclusion of a contract (between the student and the company) and the conclusion of a study contract (between the student and the University of Cooperative Education).
