Admission and application

BAH22.jpg
Requirements for admission
The admission requirements for studying at the International University of Cooperative Education are:
  • a secondary school leaving certificate, or equivalent qualification or
  • tradesmen or administrative staff with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience* as well as
  • a contract with a training company and
  • an entrance examination

Application process
Students can apply for a training position at one of the listed partner companies or directly at one of the places of study. The application can refer to one of the partner companies or be made without preference. Applications can be mailed to the respective location of the International University of Cooperative Education at any time of the year. Online applications through the online application form are also possible.

After a review of the documents, in a second stage of the application process, the University of Cooperative Education invites suitable applicants for an entrance examination. The evaluation of the entrance exam serves to complete the application documents and will be sent on to the company which the student has applied to.

However, it is also possible that applicants address companies that are not yet listed with the University of Cooperative Education as training companies. In this case the University of Cooperative Education will check the company’s suitability.  As a rule it is an advantage for students to have already completed the entrance examination at the University of Cooperative Education.

The application process ends with the conclusion of a contract (between the student and the company) and the conclusion of a study contract (between the student and the University of Cooperative Education).
